For the fifth year in a row, Transitions Optical, Inc. is being honored with the Gallup Great Workplace Award – a distinction that celebrates the best-performing workforces in the world in terms of employee engagement and productivity.
The 2014 Gallup Great Workplace Award is based on the most rigorous workplace research ever conducted. The winners were determined by a panel of workplace experts, who evaluated the award-winning organizations. Results were compared across a workplace research database composed of millions of work teams in more than 100 countries. Transitions Optical is one of the select organizations to receive a Gallup Great Workplace Award for 2014 because its results demonstrate Engagement Excellence by having one of the most productive and engaged workforces in the world. “These award-winning organizations set a new standard for workplace excellence,” said Dr. James Harter, chief scientist for the 2014 Gallup Great Workplace Awards. “They have proven track records for improving lives along with performance. The management tenets they practice have proven value in both thriving and struggling economies overall.”
Transitions Optical will be presented with the Gallup Great Workplace Award during the Gallup Spring Summit 2014 at Gallup’s main campus in Omaha, Nebraska, taking place May 13-15, 2014. Throughout the summit, the winners will present the best practices they applied to their workplace and the improved business results they achieved through building an engaged workplace.
