Lacoste Eyewear introduces their debut sunwear collection for 2011. Reminiscent of the long established Lacoste brand and inspired by design legacy, the collection includes vibrant color blocking, striping and piping, the classic pique texture and the ever recognizable croc logo. Precise style and effortless fluidity are translated onto eyewear, creating an elegant, defined collection synonymous with the Lacoste brand.
L502S and L503S: In keeping with the tradition of offering an extensive range of vivid colors, Lacoste introduces a frame which does just that. Each style features a multitude of color front and temple combinations, pairing richly colored frame fronts of black, white, brown, and blue with an array of temple colors: white, blue, red, orange, green, black, cream, amber, and khaki. This vintage L503S appeals to both men and women, while L502S is a bold, masculine navigator.
L615S and L113S: Form meets function. This fashionable front is combined with thin temples that when fully extended, reveal a hidden sports feature: magnetic temple tips that fasten together allowing the assertive wearer the versatility he seeks day by day. L615S is sure to be superior frame in the debut collection.
L608S: The Lacoste brand derives from the legacy of René Lacoste, the crowned worldwide tennis champion of the late 1920s. His innovation and classic style has endured decades and is captured in L608S. Available in a beautiful black/marble, light havana, havana green, or blue, vintage frames feature a key hole nose bridge and incorporates the traditional stripe and piping detail extending down temples.
L111S: The clean lines of the traditional aviator are emphasized with the Lacoste pique texture, revitalizing the classic style. Subtle details include polished metal accents at brow, nose bridge and end pieces reflecting a Lacoste logo engraved on thin temples. L111S is available in shiny gun, shiny light grey, shiny silver, and satin gold.
L603S: The Piping inspiration highlights the layered materials of L603S, while accentuating the distinct edges of this swift frame. Boldly placed in the center of the nose bridge is the Lacoste croc in a sharp contrast to colors of black/grey, black/light blue, white/grey, havana/yellow, and bordeaux/orange.
L108S: Smooth metal is sculpted into sleek, defined lines to form a sun style on par with Lacoste’s spirit of simplicity. Accented with piping and stripe details, balanced temples feature a slim line coursing towards zyl temple tips, which is disrupted momentarily by the Lacoste crocodile at the beginning of temples. L108S is available in satin black/grey, satin silver/satin blue, white/green, satin brown/red, and bronze/yellow.
L605S: A fresh interpretation of the traditional aviator, Lacoste accents rich zyl aviators with fine piping that flows around the exterior of the frame. Stripes in complementing tones are articulate accents at the brow bridge and temple tips. L605S is available in rich colors of black/brown, white/grey, blue/navy, blue/green, and bordeaux/orange.
L104S: The shape and style of L104S is purely modern. A sleek design with metal modified oval frames and thin temples that incorporate the Lacoste croc set against color blocks. L104S is available in shiny black, shiny silver, satin red, and satin gold.
L614S: Born from the Petite Pique Polo shirt that Rene Lacoste created, this is a pure Lacoste design. Vibrant in color, the L613S is presented in a ZYL representation of the Pique pattern in coral, wine, blue, green, white, and black. The pillowed square frame features a small, polished Lacoste croc inlayed onto temples and completes this iconic style.
L602S: Color blocking defines the layers of zyl in L602S. A lucid interior layer illuminates modified cat eye frame fronts. A shadow of the Lacoste croc is inlayed over color combinations of black/grey, havana/brown, blue/light blue, purple/lilac, and red/brown.
L110S: Metal frames are molded to follow the gentle curvatures of the female silhouette. Sleek temples feature the prominent Lacoste logo set against a complementing secondary color, while a shiny Lacoste croc is a petite accent in the top left corner of the left lens. L110S is available in colors satin/shiny black, satin white/beige, khaki/satin pink, shiny/satin blue, and shiny gold/satin gold.
L611S and L612S: Skillfully designed, colored zyl is layered onto uplifting, modified butterfly frames (L612S) and on pillowed square frames (L611S). Contrasting color combinations create depth and dimension that is visible when looking at end pieces. L612S is available in colors grey/beige, white/green, white/blue, havana/brown, and red/white create depth and dimension; and L611S is available in colors grey/beige, white/yellow, havana/brown, purple/lilac, and red/white.
L112S: Freedom of motion is captured in L112S, the female counterpart to L111S. Inlayed onto metal round frames and flowing down temples, the pique detail is amplified in colors of shiny black, shiny gun, shiny red bronze, and shiny gold.
L105S: Fluid piping embraces oversized square frames and continues onto temples to create a striped detail. The metal frame engraved with the Lacoste logo at temples is available in colors shiny black, shiny white, satin blue, and shiny red.
