Carl Zeiss Vision Sunlens has partnered with Istituto Marangoni, Europe’s leading fashion and design school (with campuses in Milan, Paris and London); under the artistic direction of designer Emmanuel Gallina, they present a unique and creative new project: 5 students from 5 different cultures bring an original approach to sunglass design, basing their work around the new brand Optics by Carl Zeiss Vision sunlenses.
Each project explores the characteristics of these lenses: color, shape, material and coating. The result is a collection of innovative creations, which seamlessly illustrate the “Creative Performance” concept of Optics by Carl Zeiss Vision and embody the brand’s strong values of design, freshness, accuracy and performance.
The creative focus is directed on the lens, which is the very heart of a sunglass. The objective is to reassert the importance of a sunlens, whose protection and quality features are often put aside in favor of aesthetics alone.
The project offers the occasion to take a sneak preview at the design talents of tomorrow!
