For 2011, the Emilio Pucci Eyewear Collection pays homage to an array of vintage prints and adorned monograms.
A collection fused with the design vision of Peter Dundas, the eyewear expresses fluidity in design with lines creating gentle waves on temples or adjoining within one another at hinges. Shapes are revitalized with design inspirations Farfalle and Tubulari and further enhanced with vivacious colorations in a range of saturations from deep hues to lucid crystals. Although each style is unique, each is distinctively Pucci.
EP668s – Cascading colors and fluid movement are synonymous with the Emilio Pucci brand and the inspiration for the temples of EP668s. A metal detail inspired by the “Onda” follows the gentle waves that begin on frame fronts and continue onto temples. A modern oval butterfly shape adds to the uninhibited nature of this freely formed style available in colors black, bone, chestnut, and orchid.
EP659s & EP119s – The design of both the EP659s and EP119s are “Medea” print inspired, using architectural shapes and structure to create these elegant styles. Geometric carved metal holds floating lenses that come together at hinges engraved with the Emilio Pucci logo.
EP662s – Pronouncing the Pucci name, extended temples feature the monogrammed crest in glistening foil at end pieces and are set against solid tones of ebony, bone white, tortoise, olive green, and wine.
EP123s – The celebrated “Vivara” prints ovals are the inspiration behind the temples of EP123s. Crafted to hinge metal frames to custom Pucci print temples, EP123s shows Pucci’s ability to continually revitalize their designs.
EP657s – With the ability to translate effortless fluidity onto sunwear and optical, it comes as no surprise that the EP657s is inspired by the “farfalle/butterfly”. The butterfly effect is created by beveled edges of dual laminate solid zyl and transparent pucci print zyl that encompasses oversized vintage square frames. Available in black, green, brown, and purple the style is one of a kind.
EP504s – The Intreccio inspired frame eagerly displays Pucci’s use of flowing lines. Metal delicately curves around frame fronts to create a flattering shape for the feminine silhouette. Elegant knots of metal and plastic interlock at temples. The frames are dual tonal, available in colors silver/black, dark ruthenium/black, and golden beauty/brown.
EP660s & EP661s - Frames that embrace the time-honored patterns, EP660s and EP661s flaunt vibrant designs, recognizable patterns and vivid colorations. Vintage frames add youthful appeal to each style. EP660s is a fashion forward wayfarer available in colors of tar, tobacco, brown, cream, and blue. EP661s is a modified vintage oval cat eye oval available in tar, tortoise, cream, blue, and burgundy.
EP2624R – Translating the chain link pattern onto rich zyl temples, EP2624R has the added embellishment of inlayed crystals following the edges of the initial link. Lucid modified square frames echo the brilliance of this light-infused optical style. This style is now available in new colors of bordeaux, crystal black, lilac and brown, in addition to existing colors of crystal grey, brown crystal, indigo, and strawberry.
EP2645 – Printed patterns on vivacious temples, EP2645 is a bold optical that is emblazoned with the Pucci heritage. Available in lively colors, each frame is complimented by an iconic Pucci print: tar, honey, chestnut, blue, violet, and antique rose.
EP2647 – Following the “Tubolari” design, EP2647 translates the design aesthetic into optical. Thin, tubular temples are wrapped with iconic prints and capped with metal hinge engraved with the Pucci logo. Chic frames are available in colors of tar, chestnut, honey, olive green, burgundy, and blue.
