Unveiling are 10 new models with designs specifically targeting the trail and road sport athlete, active women, and children. The new offering exemplifies Columbia’s core values of long-wear comfort and outdoor performance for men and women of all ages, shapes and sizes.
Highlights of the collection include “Peak X, Peak W, and Trico Peak”, ideally suited for trail and road sport, which offer the legendary Eliminator polarized lens technology and are constructed of Columbia’s exclusive “H90” featherweight thermo-plastic for superior durability and resistance to the effects of extreme temperatures. “Peak X” and “Peak W”, feature an easy and quick-change lens system and each model is equipped with 3 pair of lenses. “Trico Peak” a semi-rimless, 8-base frame offers a ventilated lens that creates aerodynamic advantage which prevents moisture build up from elements or body heat. All 3 trail-road sport models feature a removable brow bar to keep perspiration at bay for unobstructed vision.
The substantial new offering also introduces easily RXable models designed for work-to-play functionality. “Boulder Mountain” a stainless steel, deep square shape with aggressive sport bridge, and “Savage Peak” an H90, generously-sized, wrapped rectangle, are both masculine options. While “Cora and Mirror Lake’s” take a femininely colorful approach to outdoor functionality with Gripol-lined ear stems and featherweight comfort.
