Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen’s Dualstar Entertainment Group has entered an exclusive license agreement with Absolute Black for the design, manufacture and global distribution of sunglasses and optical frames for their contemporary fashion brand, Elizabeth and James.
Under Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen’s creative direction, Elizabeth and James’ predominantly unisex sunglass collection will debut to high-end global retailers with an exclusive Resort ’10 capsule retailing at $185 USD, comprised of two styles: the Hudson, a sleek, modern aviator and the Fairfax a smart, elegant cat’s eye. The collection is rendered from high quality acetate sheet material and CR39 lenses. Signature detailing includes a discreet engraved logo atop the frame, slender metal temples and a distinctive silver strip inserted in the left tip. The silhouettes and subtle branding identify the unique nature of Elizabeth and James.

To celebrate the launch of Elizabeth and James eyewear, a Limited Edition will be available at select retailers in the US, Canada, London and Hong Kong. The Limited Edition will be fitted with radiant 24K gold mirror lenses and encased in a box presentation collectible for all eyewear aficionados. The Limited Edition will retail for $425 USD.

Elizabeth and James’ Spring ’11 sunglass collection will be comprehensive and will roll out to Elizabeth and James retailers and fine optical boutiques with prices ranging from $155 to $265.
