ABOUT TEKĀ EYEWEAR
Eyewear that’s crafted from unique materials to make a lasting statement
Tekā Eyewear, SoHo, New York has released an attractive line of timeless eyewear this year. The collection gives a new spin on Mark Twain’s declaration that “Clothes make the man” by promising that “Glasses make the person.” The line of eyewear, which runs the gamut from classy sophistication to casual elegance, is currently being showcased in the designer sections of retail eyewear stores throughout the country.
All of the frames in Tekā Eyewear’s collection are fashioned for consumers above the age of 25 who value comfort and quality just as much as elegance and sophistication. The collection is crafted from top quality creative materials such as buffalo horn, wood, leather, and aluminum, in addition to the standard metal and plastic frames.
Exotic woods with varying grains and colors emphasize natural earth tones, letting Mother Nature accent the different frame styles with a design of its own. Buffalo horn frames are hand-crafted for connoisseurs and lovers of that special one-of-a-kind item. These natural frames are also renowned for their harmonious colors, characteristic fibrous structures, and anti-allergenic properties. The supple, sinuous look of leather is available in a wide range of colors and creates the effect of understated elegance. Streamlined aluminum frames are lightweight and durable. Some of the creations sport temple designs to add a touch of tasteful individuality. Select frames are delicately adorned with jewels to lend a feminine allure.
“The glasses I wear are a declaration of who I am. They also set the tone of my mood. I’ll don a classy pair with understated elegance to lend a serious touch to my appearance, but I always keep a trendy, feminine pair to make a casual statement and a subtle invitation to have some fun,” says one consumer.
Tekā Eyewear’s fashion designer, Tom Kramer, grew up in New York; the hubbub of contemporary style and fashion. National eyewear retailers have welcomed his collection with unbridled enthusiasm. Tekā Eyewear’s collection is reasonably priced and has created tremendous value for their retailers.
